Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated today. The physical plant, 5 children's files, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 3:00-3:50pm. There were 42 children under the supervision of 3 staff. During the inspection, children were observed working on homework, reading books, coloring pictures and enjoying free play. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Today, the children were served cinnabars and white milk for snack. The Site Supervisor is certified in MAT (medication administration training). Staff files are not reviewed on site, but during an annual administrative file review.
