Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today from 4:25pm to 5:20pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the beginning of the inspection there were 36 children were present with 3 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: playing a group game and eating snack which consisted of sub sandwiches and juice. Programming, menus, emergency procedures, 3 medications, allergy care plans, and 6 children?s records and 4 staff records were reviewed.

A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Please contact me at morgan.bryson1@dss.virginia.gov with any questions regarding this inspection.
