An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 8:15am to 10:10am. 19 children were directly supervised by 10 staff at the beginning of the inspection. Children continued to arrive and ratios remained in compliance. The physical space, 6 children's records, 5 staff records, evacuation drills, attendance and required posted documents were reviewed. A sampling of medications were inspected and in compliance. Children were observed playing with age appropriate materials, working on art projects, playing on the playground and interacting with staff. Interactions were positive. The space was well organized with developmentally appropriate materials and activities. No violations were cited today.
