Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:45am-12:45pm. There were 31 children (3-5yrs.) supervised by 4 direct care staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 4 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in various Montessori activities, including a sink and float experiment, polishing, tracing, and practicing writing cursive letters. Children were also observed having story time and eating lunch brought from home. There was a sufficient amount of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection.
