Technical Assistance:
We talked about making sure staff support is available to redirect children who finish lunch before the group bathroom routine.

Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during the unannounced renewal inspection conducted from 10:04 AM to 4:00 PM. Today, there were eighty-six school age children with ten to twelve staff during this no school day. I viewed program activities, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, posted information, medication, injury records, emergency supplies and drill records, emergency plans, agency inspection reports, eight records for staff, staff training, staff qualifications, eight records for children, daily routines, lunch, menu, indoor and outdoor areas. The children had opportunities for active play outside during this nice weather. A variety of Halloween art activities and jack-o-lantern making/discussions were enjoyed by different age groups. We discussed the routine for the start of the day during after school program hours. Record keeping systems were in place for tracking information needs and documenting required information.

Please, submit additional staff information for the renewal application. Let me know if you need any assistance. 540/430-9259
