We reviewed the requirements for documenting staff position changes and on site staff emergency contact information. Also, we discussed active supervision during outdoor play activities.

Thank you for your assistance during the renewal inspection conducted from 2:40 PM to 4:45 PM on October 17, 2019 at the school site and the staff record review from 1:55 PM to 3:25 PM on October 18, 2019 Today, there were twenty-four school age children with four staff after school on this early release day. It was reported that twelve children were supervised by two staff before school. I viewed program activities, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, posted information, injury records, emergency supplies and drill records, emergency plans, daily routines, snack, menu, agency inspection reports, ten staff records, staff training, staff qualifications, five records for children, indoor and outdoor areas. The new location in a classroom for homework time was viewed. Staff indicated that all hazardous substances used during the school day are removed from the homework room. There was not any medication for children administered during program hours. The children enjoyed active play outside. They have had regular seasonal art activities and the fall trees were displayed on the cafeteria wall. A variety of table activities were available.
