Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 9:10 am-10:30. There were a total of 3 children with 3 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, engaged in toy play and playing with trucks. A selection of staff and children records, and other documents were reviewed.There was no medications this date. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-130-A
Description: Based on a review of children records, the center has not obtained documentation of immunization records for each child before the child can attend.
Evidence: Child #1 was in attendance this date, there is no record of immunization.

Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents for the immunization and physical record for the next time they use the drop in care center.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-D
Description: Based on staff interview and a review of the center's emergency drills, the center has not implemented a minimum of two shelter in place drills per year.
Evidence: There is no documentation of shelter drills. The new center director stated she was not able to locate documentation of shelter drills.

Plan of Correction: Shelter drills will be implemented twice a year on the evacuation form.
