Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an announced initial inspection from 10:00 am - 12:15 pm. The center is currently licensed and the initial inspection is for new ownership. There were forty one children ages 11 months - 5 years in care with nine staff. The children were observed in group activities, during lunch and during nap time. Phase II was completed by the new director on 08/28/2019 at the Western Regional office. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice. Description: Based on observation, the center failed to have protective covers in all outlets.
Evidence:
1. The inspector observed the two year old classroom. There was a power strip located next to the television that had three outlets without protective covers.

Plan of Correction: The director placed protective covers in the outlets during the inspection and will monitor to ensure all outlets have protective covers.
