Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director from 3:30 pm until 5 pm. Five staff and fifty two children were present at the beginning of the inspection, twenty seven of which were outside on the playground. Upon their return to the building, the children washed their hands for their afternoon snack and then transitioned to quiet time, which included homework time. Six medications for five children were reviewed as well as four staff and five children's files.

Description: Based on observation, it was determined that 5 children were walking around drinking from their water bottles or from the juice provided with their afternoon snack.

Plan of Correction: We will remind the children about the importance of sitting down when drinking.
