Technical assistance was offered regarding medications, staff records, background checks. Technical assistance was also offered regarding age appropriate behavior guidance.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:10 am-1:00 pm. 63 children were in care with 12 staff members present. Children were observed engaged in group activities, coloring,outdoor play time, eating lunch and napping.7 staff and 5 children's records, medications and other documents were reviewed. The lunch menu included fish sticks, pears, cole slaw and milk. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-130-B Description: Based on record review, the center did not obtain additional immunization records for children under the age of two years, every six months.
Evidence: Child # 1 ( 17 months) most recent immunizations were dated 12/2018. Additional immunizations were not obtained 6 months after that date.Plan of Correction: The parents have been asked to bring in additional records.
