Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspections was conducted on 10/21/2019 from 9:50A.M.-1:05 P.M. and from 2:00 P.M.-4:30 P.M. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of the inspection 44 children were in care with twelve staff, one office administrator, and one administrator. An additional 14 children arrived afterschool and were in the care of two staff members. Seven children records, five staff records, six injury reports, emergency plan, evacuation drills, first aid kits, emergency supplies, playground, fire inspection, health inspection, injury prevention plan, and posted required information was reviewed. Children were observed during storytime, handwashing, lunchtime, transition to naptime, behavioral guidance, infant interactions, diapering, snack, and afternoon center play. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
