An unannounced focused inspection was conducted today from 12:00pm-1:30pm. There were 80 children (infants-5yrs.) supervised by 12 direct care staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 2 children?s records, medications, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, and eating snack. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Evidence:
Child #1 has two medications on site with expired medication authorizations, 7/30/19.Plan of Correction: I will have the parent complete new medication authorization forms.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-520-C Description: Based on review, not all diaper creams were labeled with child's name.
Evidence:
Diaper cream located in the Infant A was not labeled with a child's name.Plan of Correction: I will make all diaper creams are labeled.
