Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on October 29, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 2:55 p.m. through 5:30 p.m. There were forty-one students in the care of five staff. Five children and seven staff records were reviewed and updated. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for one child.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.

Areas observed were arrival, indoor play, hand washing/bathroom procedures, snack, power hour, cooking activity and departure. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seemed comfortable with their daily routine and schedule.

Please contact me at 540-430-9256 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.
