1. Reviewed the difference between emergency evacuation drills and emergency shelter-in-place drills. 2. Discussed/trained vendor on new subsidy regulations and required training. 3. Forms provided: transportation permission, and emergency plan.

9:55-11:45am Conducted an unannounced annual subsidy inspection. Observed 2 children = 5 points with the vendor. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. The children were watching a child appropriate cartoon on TV, and playing with toys during the inspection. The home was found to be very clean, safeguarded appropriately, and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. The lower and mid-levels of the home were used for care today. The kitchen is currently being remodeled. The vendor completed the annual child development training requirements, and is currently certified in First Aid/CPR. Recordkeeping was organized. One administrative non-compliance found.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-160-B Description: Based on records reviewed and interview conducted, it was determined that there was no written hard copy of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child as it occurs for 1 of 4 children enrolled. Evidence: There was no written attendance records for Child #11. The vendor stated that she was not keeping a written attendance because it was being recorded electronically with the swipe card. Plan of Correction: Moving forward, all children will be listed on daily attendance form.
