An investigation was initiated on 8/8/19 in response to a complaint received by the Eastern Regional Office on 8/1/19 regarding a concern about supervision in the infant classroom. A second complaint was received on 8/7/19 regarding an injury to a child in the infant classroom. An unannounced on-site inspection was conducted on 9/27/19. Staff were interviewed and records and documentation related to the concerns were reviewed. Additional staff interviews were conducted at the center on 10/2/19. The investigation was concluded on 10/21/19. Based on the information gathered during the investigation, there is not enough evidence to support the allegations; therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. There were no violations resulting from this complaint investigation.
