A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 11/04/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 43 children were in care with 2 staff members present. The physical space, emergency supplies, attendance records, injury reports, medications, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, 5 children's records and Staff certification for CPR/First Aid and Mat training were reviewed. The children were observed playing games, working on projects and playing on the computer and tablets. Morning snack and handwashing was also observed. The children were served Cheerios and milk. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
