Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/5/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 10 children present with 2 staff. Children were observed crocheting, washing hands, playing age appropriate video games, using a tablet, and playing with legos. Reviewed 4 children's files, 2 staff files, emergency evacuation log and plan, first aid kit, attendance and physical plant. There were no medications on site. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Should you have any questions, please contact Georganne Buccine (georganne.buccine@dss.virginia.gov)
