An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today from 9:20am to 11:30am in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Five staff files were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory VA Preservice Training, First Aid and CPR training. There are children currently enrolled with diagnosed food allergies and their files were reviewed for allergy care plans. The last lockdown drill was conducted 5/2/19.
