A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Friday, November 8, 2019 between 8:00 am to 9:45 am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The licensing inspector observed 25 children being supervised by 3 staff including the site supervisor. During this inspection, the children in care were observed by the licensing inspector completing a variety of activities to include parent drop-offs, engaged in various activities in the gymnasium, playing with age appropriate equipment in classroom, dancing to interactive music,and transitioning back into the classroom.The following information was reviewed: emergency supplies, menu, and emergency drills. There were five children?s records and the three staff's emergency contacts and required certificates of completion were reviewed during this inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
