Reinder: 16 hours of training are required annually for each staff member.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between approximately 10:20am and 11:50am. 20 children were directly supervised by 2 staff. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, attendance, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, evacuation drills, 5 children's records, staff records and required posted documents were reviewed. No medications were on site. Children were observed engaging in small group (center orientated) activities, listening to stories and preparing to go outside. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-540-B Description: Based on record review, 2 staff did not have subsequent TB screenings as required.
Evidence: TB screenings are valid for 2 years. The TB screening for Staff #1 expired 8/31/2019 and the TB screening for Staff #2 expired 8/25/2019.Plan of Correction: We will have the screenings done right away.
