Thank you for your time and assistance during the announced initial licensing inspection conducted today, November 20, 2019. The on-site inspection was from 9:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. The entire facility and the outdoor play areas were toured on this date. Measurements of all indoor and outdoor spaces that will be used for care were previously taken. The records for all four board officers of the Corporation were reviewed, along with the records for two staff members and their qualifications. Written policies and procedures were reviewed for compliance. Some items observed, reviewed, and discussed during the inspection included: emergency preparedness plan, emergency supplies, first aid kit, meal planning and menus, classroom set-up and arrangement, classroom equipment, napping equipment, cribs, the outdoor play space, required posted information, updated health and fire inspections, updated liability insurance policy, and warm water temperature. Compliance could not be determined for all standards.
A recommendation will be made for the issuance of a six month Conditional Child Day Center license with a capacity of 120 children and an age range of four weeks through 12 years.
