An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12:45pm to 3:45pm. There were 44 children in care, ranging from eight weeks to four years of age, supervised by seven staff. The older children were observed preparing for nap and napping. The infants were observed being fed bottles, being changed, and playing on the floor. Six children?s records and five staff records were reviewed and were in compliance. The Center has staff with current certification in CPR, First Aid and Daily Health Observation. Evidence: In the two-year-old classroom the soap dispenser on the wall is cracked down the side, posing a scratching hazard to the children. Plan of Correction: The broken one was removed during the inspection, and we have a new one to replace it with.
