Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 7:10am-8:15am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 24 children in the direct care and supervision of 3 staff members. A sample size of 3 children's records, 3 staff records, evacuation drills, 4 medications, the first aid kit, emergency materials, and the physical plant were reviewed. The children were observed playing card games, coloring pictures, playing group games, and playing games on tablets.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. If you have any questions, please contact me at shahana.green@dss.virginia.gov .
