An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this morning. At the beginning of the inspection there were 12 children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Staff qualifications and background checks are reviewed bi-annually at the Office for Children office. Children were observed arriving for the morning program, playing card games, building with blocks, and coloring. Currently no enrolled children keep medications on site. Staff and children interactions were observed to be positive and constructive in nature. There was a variety of age appropriate matirels and supplies for children in care. The center was clean and organized.
