A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on (insert date) to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 12:10pm-2:10pm. There were 60 children directly supervised by 9 staff. A sample of 10 children?s records and 9 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed sleeping, being dismissed, drawing, and preparing for a fire drill.The center conducted a fire drill today. Two new staff have been hired since the last inspection. There were no violations cited during this inspection. The exit interview was conducted with the administrative teacher. If you have any questions, contact Kimberly.Sawyer@dss.virginia.gov.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
