An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted December 2 2019 between 9:30am and 11:00am. There were 62 children in the direct care of 15 staff members. Ratios were maintained throughout the inspection. Children were observed painting, completing a bear art project, playing with a sensory table, singing, and learning new letters. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-G Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure that food brought from home is clearly dated and labeled.
Evidence: Lunch boxes in room 107 were able to identified, but did not have labels indicating the date.Plan of Correction: The teachers will give masking tape to the parents and the parents can write the date on the boxes.
