Today an unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted starting at 2:20pm and ended at 4:15pm. There were 61 children present today with 4 staff. Children were observed arriving from school, greeting staff, washing hands, eating snack (cereal bar and juice pouch), transitioning outside and participating in show-n-tell. One medication with authorization was reviewed. Medication Administration Training (MAT) and First Aid/CPR certifications were checked today. Evidence: There is no food menu for the month of December posted; the menu that is currently posted is for the month of November.
Plan of Correction: I just need to print it. I'll get it up today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-K Description: Based on observation, tables were not sanitized before and after being used for eating.
Evidence: The younger group of children were observed eating their afternoon snack. The tables were not sanitized before the children began eating or after the children were finished eating. The older group of children were observed eating their afternoon snack after returning from outside. The tables were not sanitized before the children began eating.
Plan of Correction: We'll make sure to do it.
