Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 6:55 a.m. and ending at 8:30 a.m. with the director and three staff. There were 36 children in care ranging in age from 6 years to 13 years old. Children were observed during free choice play that included card games and quiet time. After free choice, children prepared for zones that included cartooning or bloxels on tablets. After zones, children washed hands and prepared for breakfast.

Six staff records and seven children's records were reviewed. 14 medications and authorizations were reviewed. The complete first aid kit was reviewed. Emergency drills are posted and up to date. There is current liability insurance.

Description: Based on observation, it was determined that the facility did not have all required emergency supplies. Evidence: There was not a battery operated radio. There was a crank radio that requires one minute of cranking for ten minutes of operation.

Plan of Correction: Batteries will be purchased for the other radio in the office.
