Comments:
A mandated Monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were 80 children present with 13 staff. Children were observed playing on the playground, having lunch (chicken, rice, vegetable, pineapple, milk), napping, playing bingo, reading books, playing with puzzles, and playing the match game. Reviewed 3 staff files, 3 child files, medications and authorizations, fire and health inspections, emergency evacuation drills, attendance, menus, and physical plant. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-H
Description: Based on observation, cosmetics and other potentially harmful agents were stored in areas and purses that are accessible to children.
Evidence:
Purses were being stored unlocked and accessible in the Toddler room.

Plan of Correction: Maintenance was called to fix the broken lock during this inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-G
Description: Based on observation, food brought from home was not labeled to properly identify the owner.
Evidence:
Child#1's bottles were dated 11/18/19.

Plan of Correction: This was corrected at the time of inspection by the teacher properly labeling the bottles with today's date.
