An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:00am-12:00pm. There were 63 children (infants-5yrs.) supervised by 11 direct care staff. The physical plant, staff records, children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports ,and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, and creating art. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Evidence:
No tummy time is being recorded for infants who cannot turn themselves over and are awake.Plan of Correction: I will speak to all infant staff today and make sure we will record 30 minutes of tummy time.
