Discussion regarding the spacing of occupied cribs and cots. Discussed age and stage playground equipment.

An unannounced non-mandated inspection was completed today to evaluate the first two months of operation. Walk thru of classrooms, staff interviews, review of medications/topical ointments and observation of the playgrounds was completed. Staff and child records reviewed. Previous violation notice from the Initial inspection was reviewed and corrective actions verified. Thank you for your cooperation today. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-C Description: Based on review of medication on site, medication authorizations do not follow the center's own medication policy.
Evidence: The medication authorizations (MAT) form does not include the duration of the medication.Plan of Correction: We will obtain the duration for these medications. Going forward we will review the forms prior to accepting the medications.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-G Description: Based on observation of class #14, food was not properly labeled.
Evidence: A container of fresh fruit was found not labeled with a child's name and date.Plan of Correction: We will inspect all food brought from home to ensure they are labeled properly.
