A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 12/02/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 49 children were in care with 8 staff members present. Children were observed building with blocks, coloring, singing songs, and engaging in imaginative play. A selection of staff and children records, the physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, injury reports, and medications were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Evidence:
Child #1 has a diagnosed food allergy. There was no allergy care plan documented in the file.Plan of Correction: In addition to obtaining medication authorizations, we will complete allergy care plans for children with food allergies.
