A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 12/05/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at the facility between the hours of 10 am and 12 pm. A sample of 2 children and 1 staff record was reviewed. There were no children with food allergies. Children were observed during circle time, playing toys and lining up for a bathroom break .A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-770-B-5 Description: Based on a record review the vendor did not have all required components of the emergency preparedness plan.
The vendor's emergency plan did not include a Continuity of operations procedures to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency.
Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the vendor during the exit interview:
The required procedure to address the Continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency will be added to the emergency plan.
