An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 8:00 a.m. with the director and assistant. There were 22 children in care ranging in age from age 5 years to 10 years old. Children were observed playing at their choice of centers that included board games, legos, coloring and catch with a football. After centers, children prepared for morning snack. Morning snack was cereal and milk. After snack, children played a group game called sharks and minnows.
Five children's records and three staff records were reviewed. Emergency drills were reviewed and up to date. Two medications and authorizations were reviewed.
