22VAC40-185 SPECIAL CARE PROVISIONS AND EMERGENCIES.
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on November 6, 2019 as a result of a complaint that was received by the Valley Licensing Office on October 11, 2019 regarding the allegation of standard 22VAC40-185-(7). Interviews were conducted. The information gathered supports the allegation therefore, the complaint is valid.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-500-B Complaint related: No Description: Based on staff interviews and documentation, the center failed to change one child's diaper immediately after being wet/soiled.
1. Staff #1 stated in reviewing of center video, on October 3, 2019, Child #1 did not have his diaper changed after approximately 9:37 a.m.
2. Child #1 was picked up from care at approximately 5:30 p.m.
3. The center did not change Child #1's diaper immediately after being soiled or wet.
Plan of Correction: All staff have been re-trained on the diapering procedure, and the Virginia Department of social services standard (22VAC40-185-(8)-B).
