Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted on December 11, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date (see separate report for details). Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in the licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There was one child present age 23 months. All staff have documentation of the mandatory VA Pre-service Training and current certification in first aid and CPR. First aid and CPR certification needs to be renewed when applicable. When there are children with diagnosed food allergies enrolled, they must have an Allergy Action Plan completed by the physician. The last lockdown drill was conducted 4/1/2019.
