Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on December 17, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on site visit was from 10:42 a.m. through 2 p.m. There were twenty two children in the care of five staff in five classrooms. Five children?s and five staff records were reviewed and updated. Medication and authorization paperwork was reviewed for the two children that have medication on site. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Areas observed were: free choice activity, books, tummy time, hand washing procedures, lunch, and nap. Three children and two staff interviews were completed. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. Please contact me at 804-297-4469 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.
