Today an unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted between the hours of 9:50am and 1:00pm. There were 2 classrooms observed with a total of 10 children with 2 staff and the Director within the supervision guidelines. The preschool children were observed playing in dramatic play, trucks, singing, playing outside and other organized activities.The infants were observed receiving bottles and practicing walking. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. There are currently no medications on-site. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-140-A Description: Based on record review, the center did not obtain a physical exam within the first 30 days of attendance for each child.
Evidence: Child #3 (first date of attendance: 11/7/19) file does not contain a physical exam.Plan of Correction: I'll call the parent and ask them to get it from the doctor.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-320-B Description: Based on observation, each restroom area provided for children did not contain all the required supplies.
Evidence: The bathroom in the Radiant Rainbows classroom did not have toilet paper available to the children.Plan of Correction: This was corrected during the inspection.
