A Renewal inspection during the Conditional Licensure period was conducted today. There were 55 children present with 12 staff. Children were observed having lunch (chicken nuggets, potatoes, oranges), washing hands, getting ready for nap, reading books and playing bingo. Reviewed license, postings, licensing process, menu, attendance, and physical plant. One violation of the Standards was recorded on the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on observation, areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, are not being maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.
Evidence:
Stained ceiling tiles were observed in the hallway, indicating a possible roof leak.Plan of Correction: Director retrieved brand new ceiling tiles to be installed to replace/repair the stained ones.
