A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on January 9, 2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Six staff were present with twenty-six children. Five children's records and four staff records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violation was found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-510-B Description: Based on record review and staff interview, the vendor did not ensure daily attendance was taken upon arrival.
Evidence:
In the three year old classroom, the attendance sheet was not filled out for the day. Confirmed with staff.Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection. Staff have been spoken to about making sure attendance is taken as soon as the child arrives. Staff will have other staff double check attendance.
