Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection took place on January 9, 2020. There were 14 children in care from ages 3 years old to 5 years old with 3 staff providing care and supervision. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records on site. The LI also reviewed all three staff records during a separate visit at another location, on January 6, 2020. This center did not have any medications on this particular day. This center uses an outside company to transport children. Children were observed during the following activities: breakfast, hygiene practices, puzzles, dancing, and outdoor play. The inspector also reviewed emergency drill documentation, first aid kits, and emergency supplies. There were discussions about the renewal process and children's records. The inspection was conducted from approximately 8:55 AM to 11:00 AM. There were no violations observed during the inspection. Please contact your inspector, should you have any questions: Jensen Mellnick (540)309-2051.
