An announced initial inspection was conducted with the center director January 13, 2020 to determine compliance with licensing standards. Time of today's inspection: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The facility plans to provide care to children ages six weeks to twelve years. Measurements of the facility were made and the requested capacity of 138 children can be accommodated. Classrooms are equipped with a variety of age appropriate equipment and supplies including materials for gross motor, art, literacy, and dramatic play. Seven staff files were reviewed and are in compliance. Policies and procedures were reviewed. There are staff certified in First Aid and CPR and with Daily Health Observation training scheduled for hours of operation. The health inspection was conducted 12/10/2019. The fire inspection was conducted 12/2/2019. A conditional (6 month) license will be recommended.
