An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the zone leader, who was present with 4 additional and 26 children. After taking the attendance, the children went to wash their hands, had snack and then transitioned into homework time. Four staff and seven children's files were reviewed as well as eight medications for 4 children and a five injuries/accident reports.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-70-A Description: Based on interviews, it was determined that there was no staff file on site for staff A. Plan of Correction: We will make sure all staff keep a file on site.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-500-A Description: Based on observation,it was determined that none of the children washed their hands with soap and water or disposable wipes after eating their snack. Plan of Correction: We will remember to wash the children's hands.
