Comments:
The inspector conducted an unannounced mandated renewal inspection from 10:45 until 12:45. There were 30 children in care with staff supervising at all times. A cook and two family service workers were also present. Children were observed playing outside, washing hands, at circle time learning letters, and during nap time. No medications were reported being on site. Five children's records were reviewed. Five staff records were reviewed 01/13/2020 at the main office. The violation is noted on the violation notice. Description: Based on measurement, the center did not maintain the required resilient surfacing in fall zones.
Evidence:
1. The inspector measured the mulch under the red climber and it was 2-3 inches in depth.

Plan of Correction: Mulch will be added under the climber.
