Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced renewal inspection conducted today, January 13, 2020. The on-site inspection was conducted from 4:35 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Staff records were reviewed at the administration office from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. On this date, there were 15 children in one group and in the care of two staff members. The total enrollment for the program was 46 children. Two staff members' records and five children's records were reviewed. There was no medication being administrated or on-site. Two staff members and five children were interviewed. There were no violations of the licensing standard observed during the inspection. The theme for the week was Arctic Animals and the children enjoyed making a winter wonderland. Snack met USDA guidelines. Some items observed and reviewed during the inspection included hand washing and bathroom procedures, large motor play, art activities, table top activities and games, updated emergency preparedness plan, current health and fire inspections, required posted information, first aid supplies, emergency supplies, current liability insurance documentation, documentation of evacuation, shelter-in-place and lockdown drills, and dismissal procedures.
