Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 3:30 pm through 5 pm. Today, I met with the Staff of the YMCA after-school program held on site at Cool Spring Elementary located in Leesburg, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 43 children observed with 4 staff; good ratio for this one group. A total of 5 children?s files were reviewed. Staff files shall be reviewed on a later date. The children were engaged in the following: large motor skilled activities in the gym, bathroom break, hand washing, games, snack, home work time, and other organized activities. If you should have any future questions, please call or send an e-mail to charles.perkins@dss.virginia.gov. Thank you.
