Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today beginning at 11:30am At the time of entrance, 51 children were in care with 4 staff members present. The physical space, evacuation drills, attendance records, medications, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, 5 children's records and Staff certification for CPR/First Aid and Mat training were reviewed. Ratios were in compliance and required documents were posted. The site was clean, organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. The children were observed playing games, reading, working on art projects hand washing and having lunch. Interactions between the children and staff were positive. Description: Based on observation, the center failed to follow all requirements when children bring food from home.
Evidence:
1. Child #1 had a lunch bag with food from home. The lunch bag was not clearly dated or labeled in a way that identifies the owner.

Plan of Correction: The lunch bag was labeled during the inspection.
