Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 8:30 am-9:45. There were a total of 30 children with 2 staff members present. Children were observed arriving to the program,snack time, engaged in group activities including legos, cards, and sock snowmen. A selection of staff training's and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-G
Description: Based on a review of children medications, the center has not maintained medication drugs in accordance with the prescriber's instructions pertaining to dosage, frequency, and manner of administration.
Evidence: Child #1 medication authorization signed by the physician on 8/26/2019 says to administer .15 mg of medication. The prescription label on the medication says to administer .3 mg of medication.

Plan of Correction: We will contact the parent today for correction.
