- Technical Assistance:
Discussed the following with the Diretor:
- The importance of having medications at the center that there is written authorization to administer for 2 children in care.
- Requirements related to naptime for Kindergarten aged children.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. The physical plant, annual fire and health inspections, 6 staff files, 10 children's files, child nutrition, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 1:00-3:40pm. There were 99 children under the supervision of 14 staff. During the inspection, children were observed being fed (infants), listening to music, reading books, resting during naptime, and enjoying free play. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. For lunch, the children were served a vegetarian bean burrito with cheese, cauliflower, pineapple and milk. There are currently 4 MAT trained staff. Should you have any questions, please contact me at email@example.com.
