An unannounced health and safety inspection took place this morning. There were 56 children with 5 staff present. I observed children busy with board games, stacking and building activities; art activities, beading and gym games. Children were busy and occupied during this Teachers' Work Day. This inspection, combined with the previous licensing standards inspection, meets the requirements for the SSHI program. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-520-B-5 Description: Based on a review of medications and paperwork today, two children with medication for diagnosed allergies did not have documentation of an allergy action report available.
Evidence:
Child # 2 and 5 had medications and authorizations, but no allergy action plan as required.Plan of Correction: I will get the action plans from the school nurse as soon as possible, and put them with the medication authorizations.
